Buccleuch Arms Hotel
Lochroe was approached in 2006 by David Smith, to help the business arrange finance for the purchase of the hotel. Key requirements were a relatively high Loan to Value, a low borrowing rate and an effective working relationship with the funder.
Following a structured approach to a number of banks, four offers of support were received. Ultimately the Clydesdale Bank was successful in securing the Buccleuch business at a very competitive rate.
