With the internet now a crucial aspect of all our businesses, our client was setting up a franchise business specialising in Business to Business web design and internet consultancy. Lochroe was asked to help strengthen the business plan and seek appropriate funding.
Following an initial capture of requirements, Lochroe provided advice on the structure of the finance required. The client had some capital and we acted to balance this with additional bank funding to ensure adequate cover to support cashflow. Ultimately, six banks were approached on the client's behalf and a suitable funding structure is now in place that enabled the bank to lend money on an unsecured basis.
